The Cruelty-Free Tag!

You know I ❤ a good tag!  For previous tags I’ve done, I’ve update them to be cruelty-free-appropriate, but this time… I don’t have to.  Be prepared, though, as usual, I’ve taken some liberties 😉  A big thank you to the Reasonable Raven, who turned me on to this tag.

Alrighty, here we go!

What is are your favorite cruelty-free face product(s)?

I simply couldn’t pick, so my nominees for this category are:

Pur Minerals Disappearing Act Concealer.  I love the coverage, the shade match (in light), and the creamy blendability.  Plus I feel like it might help clear up the spots I put it on (maybe… a little?).

My Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders.  I luv using my Mood Light as a (really) subtle blush, Ethereal Light is great for the undereye or a light diffusion of the pores, and Dim Light is my perfect all-over product.

What is your favorite cruelty-free eye product?

I had to give this to Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing.  Amazing mascara at an amazing price.  And, even on a no eyeshadow day this stuff can make your eyes look stunning.  Throw this on in combo with a good lip, and you’re ready to go!

What is your favorite cruelty-free lip product?

Hands down it had to be Suntegrity Lipstick with SPF 30 in Plum Eclipse.  The only word for it is luscious.

What is are your favorite cruelty-free skincare product(s)?

 Once again, I had to go for the tie since I use these products equally religiously, one for day, one for night.

My go-to SPF Moisturizer these days is Paula’s Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Mattifying Fluid with SPF 50.  It’s a liquidy formula that provides hydration without greainess and such a great SPF!  Then, for nighttime eye care, I use Oz Naturals (not affiliated with Dr. Oz of TV fame) Super Youth Eye Gel, a cooling, moisurizing dream 🙂

What is your favorite cruelty-free body care product?

Has to be Pure Natural Diva Polished Organic Sugar Scrub.  I use this without fail every time I shave my legs and it delivers great exfoliation and a moisture that is so intense, even after rinsing it off there’s still no need for after-shower lotioning.

What is your favorite cruelty-free perfume?

 NONE, I NEED RECOMMENDATIONS!  Please send some ASAP 🙂

What is your favorite cruelty-free nail polish?

Another no brainer, for both fingers and toes, it’s definitely SpaRitual Calm and Clear, my perfect nude shade.

Would you give away/throw out products that aren’t cruelty-free?

Well, I did a serious purge when I first went cruelty-free, tons of stuff made its way down the garbage chute.  Now, on the off chance I receive something cruelty-ful, I’d likely give it to someone else if I knew they used/liked it.  That said, pretty much everyone who’d be at all likely to give me a gift of beauty products knows my position on this issue, so it’s not really happened in a long time.

Which brand, that isn’t cruelty-free, do you miss the most and why?

This last question may very well be the easiest, bar none it would be Benefit, for their Boxed Blush in Dandelion.  Man, do I love that blush.
