Cruelty-free birthday haul vol. 2: Illamasqua!

I’ve been waiting for this all year!  Illamasqua used to be sold at Sephora, but since they’ve stopped offering their products there, they can be really tough to find and they’re rather spendy besides.  So, I’ve been waiting (im)patiently for my b’day month to come around so I could use my 15% off coupon code to order directly from their site.

I stocked up on 2 of my fave products of all time, and also purchased a product I’ve been dying to try… the Vintage Metallix cream eye shadow in Bibelot.  It’s a lovely goldy green that I’ve wanted for probably over a year now.

I also got myself a new Hydra Veil.  This is my all-time favorite way to add hydration around my eyes when I put on my more drying anti-break out face masks.  The gel consistency is cooling and hydrating without being the least bit greasy.  And, I ❤ that little spatula!

Finally from the b’day haul, came one of my fave more full coverage foundations, the cult favorite Illamasqua Skin Base.  My shade is 3.5.   Keep an eye out for this one in an upcoming cooler weather foundation series!

Coincidentally, I also snagged a couple of Illamasqua products a while back on Hautelook, at a great discount, so thought I’d include them as well.

The lovely, deep (on my skin tone anyway) powder blush in Ambition, which you can wear heavily for a more dramatic look or sheered out for a lovely flush.

And the Complement Palette eye shadow quad, which comes with 3 powder and 1 cream shadows.
