Cruelty-free lip love

First of all, a very merry Christmas to all those who are celebrating today!  I’m actually prepping this on Christmas Eve so I can give my full attention to tomorrow’s festivities.

So, in the spirit of the season, I wanted to share a little love with some products that I think don’t get enough of it in the internet beauty world.  I’ve got 3 picks to share that are all affordable, pigmented, wear well, and are just generally fab.

First up, the pick that inspired this post, the Ulta Lip Crayon.  I got this as part of a set of Ulta lip products and this one for me was the standout.  The color, Daredevil, is RIGHT up my alley, it’s comfortable, easy to apply, and gives off a quite nice shine.

Next is the lovely Mocha-Liciy ous, a.k.a. Wet N Wild Megalast Lipcolor, 914C.  A velvety matte that works perfectly for recreating that 90’s vibe all we over-30 somethings know and love.

Third is an ELF product that seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle of all of their recent new launches, the EX-tra Lip Gloss.  This one, Luke, is my fave, but I also have it in the nude pink, Scott, and it’s a fabulous for getting those lips looking a little fuller in a more understated way.

Lastly, I wanted to throw in a couple of honorable mentions, which I’ve featured before, but that I think work well for this category of products.

ELF’s Lip Kiss Balm in Sweet Berry: actually featured on Beautyforgood’s Instagram, so here’s that shot

Which are your under-appreciated faves?

**All products were purchased by me from brands that, to the best of my knowledge, are cruelty-free.
