I figured I might as well just go ahead and make this entire week about products I learned of through emilynoel83. Not too long ago, she gave a shout out to City Color Cosmetics. I was so impressed by what I saw that I scampered right over to the website to see whether they are cruelty-free and they report that they are! What’s more, they’re carried at a store I only recently learned of, called Five Below, where, you guessed it, everything costs under $5!!
Suffice it say, pretty much every time I go to the shopping plaza where my local Five Below resides (pretty frequent since that’s where the nearest Pet Smart is) I find myself in their makeup aisle. As such, I’ve amassed quite a collection, the vast majority of which are cheek products…

I find all of these products to be really nicely pigmented and smooth. Wear time on the ones I’ve worn out seems good, and I haven’t yet noticed any major oxidation (when products turn kind of orange on me over the course of the day). The bronzers in both of the multi-product palettes are too dark for me (I’d post the photos, but they’re fairly tragic) and watch out for the sunlight palette in particular, it’s kind of a glitter bomb. But, I’m a big fan of the blush and highlight shades in the sunkissed palette and of the blush in the sunlight palette. And, frankly, for under $5 I’m kind of fine with not caring for all of the shades.
Have any of you tried any City Color products? Let me know what you think!

Happy to help! They definitely don’t have the whole line of City Color at Five Below, but that’s where I got all of these 🙂
