Makeup Geek has had several launches of new shadows since my first eyeshadow palooza over a year ago. After their most recent launch, I felt it was my duty and responsibility to collect some of the newer shadows and report on them to you. That’s right, my makeup purchases are really a form of philanthropy 😉
Anyway, as I was taking photos for this post, I realized it might be useful to do a few comparisons of new(er) shades with ones I’d already had in my collection. Far be it from me to say whether anyone else NEEDS more eyeshadow, but as I did last post with Wet n’ Wild, I figured I’d show you similar MG shades you might already have in your collection.
First up, let me know show you the newest goodies! I purchased 3 foiled shadows from the newest launch, along with 4 of what are now being called ‘signature’ shades, one of which, Lucky Penny, might as well be a foil it’s so sheeny and wonderful.

Here are swatches of the 3 newbies that I didn’t have anything close to in my current MG collection. At first, I’d thought Cabin Fever might be like Country Girl, but it’s really not, it’s much darker and less pinky.

Gorg(eous), no?
Next up, a few newish shades I’d picked up during prior launches.

Ok, now for some comparisons… just a little FYI. Also, I haven’t included photos of all of the pans, but to see them just head over to my original palooza post.

Hope this has been helpful; happy shopping (or not)!

I’m on the near-obsessive hunt for The Perfect Neutral Light Brown Lid Shade, and now I can’t seem to decide between Bake Sale and Bandwagon.
